We appreciate it. The large and clean room, the facility has just been renovated and I think they a good job on most facilities. There are some improvements that I will mention later on. There is a laundromat which functions well, with either coins or an app. There are great outdoor facilities for barbecuing, or having a picnic, Although it is looking out on to a parking lot. There is a big supermarket and bakery around the corner, there is Vietnamese food Indian food around the corner, also poke and pizza. You can easily walk to a park where kids can play, and get on a longer urban hiking trail.
As far as the room goes, the facility was very clean, the beds were clean and comfy, the shower was large, great water pressure, a nice rain head shower, and also a handheld shower, handy for rinsing out kids hair.
This Courtenay hotel provides free WiFi and a balcony in each room. Courtenay District Museum and Sid Williams Civic Theater are 0.6 mi away. A complimentary hot breakfast is available.
An on-site restaurant and launderette are featured at this Comox motel. Free Wi-Fi is offered in all guest rooms. Crown Isle Golf Resort is 5 minutes’ drive away.

Location was far from town with traffic noise in the morning for a short period but we enjoyed the view and space we had as well as the lovely neighborhood.
Offering a variety of animal-ready amenities, these properties promise a great stay for pets and people. Services can include sitting services, specialized bedding, and dog-walking. Some hotels even offer fun perks like a gourmet room service menu for pets, as well as catnip and scratching posts.
The staff were friendly and the process was very easy. They accommodated our two dogs with no issues. The location is central but quiet. They provided plenty of breakfast options.
Our overall stay was good. We had breakfast included and it was very good - provided everything you needed.
We travelled with our small dog and the original pet friendly room we were assigned was not to our expectations. I spoke to the staff and they were understanding and kind enough to give us a room that was much more to our liking.
The location was close to most things we wanted to do in Comox. The staff was friendly and tried hard to accommodate. It was great to have breakfast included - nothing fancy, but some decent options. The pool was great and there is a dog park across the street which was super convenient for us and our pups. The air conditioning worked beautifully - it was easy to get the room to a nice temperature and the room was cool when we first came in.
Pool! Large room with plenty of room around the 2 queen beds, plus a cabinet and desk. Two comfortable chairs. Continental breakfast was well stocked with plenty of choices. Good Japanese restaurant on site which is a big bonus. Pet friendly!
I would recommend Port Augusta to anyone travelling with pets. I noticed quite a few people with dogs. When Westjet screwed up the reservation for me and my pets (I had been boarding my cats), I came back to Port Augusta and the extremely competent and friendly front desk women relieved my stress by saying I could have my same room back, and yes, both my dog and cats were welcome for another night!
