Excellent place for a family stay : the pousada has 2 sizeable swimming pools, games (table tennis, baby-foot, pool...), and is located in a farm with lots of animals (horses, cows, chickens, goats, sheep, etc.) - our daughter loved it ! Adults loved it too : we had a very spacious house with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living area, there are 2 great outside barbecue areas to cook your own meat (extra payment of 100 R$ for use), very good and varied breakfast, possibilities to order from nearby restaurants if you're not in the mood to cook in the chalet, nice countryside setting with nice walks nearby (a car is needed to reach them). The staff is very nice and helpful. We'll definitely come back !

Comfortable, quiet location very close to the upper part of Itatiatia NP. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Kind and welcoming hosts. We would stay again!

The hosts were incredibly accommodating, letting us pick greens for a salad from their garden. The location is spectacular, near a creek, and in walking distance of hiking trails.
I was supposed to spend two nights in this beautiful place in the middle of the countryside.
Firstly, I had a troubles with the location, so in the end I could not come. All money that I paid for accomodation were given back by owners.
I stayed even for second night and it was lovely. I was not disturbed by anything, around was beautiful silence and I could relax after hiking in mountains.
Owners were doing everything to reach my satisfaction, everything was clean, organised and well-prepared.

It's located outside of Itamonte as a good starting point for some hikes. The host even asked his son to bring me on a special location not easy to find where we had a wonderful view over the area. This hike was even better than the fist one on the mountain which I did on my own.
For the evening they prepared a kind of barbecue for small money and it was fun to be around with the locals
