We stayed there to visit Tournai. The room and bathroom were spacious and most importantly, clean. The kids had ample space in the room. There was a small kitchen with all necessary stuffs you need, although we did not cook ourselves. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Everything was functioning properly throughout our stay. We also found a parking spot quite easily in front of the hotel. We liked the location of the hotel. From our windows, the view of the cathedral was magnificent, especially when it was dark outside. The French border is right behind the cathedral. Honestly speaking, we did not expect the hotel to be that good, considering the price we paid for it for 4 people. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Melissa. If we ever go back to that region, we will stay there again.

We've really enjoyed staying at Natalie and Frank's house. It's very nicely decorated, has all the possible appliances one could wish for and the location is perfect. There are plenty of very good cycling rides and walks around. It is situated in a a lovely French village at the edge of a beautiful forest. Natalie has been super friendly and helpful. The house and location is beautiful. Very homely and well equipped. A very spacious house. Claudine and David are very welcoming hosts. We were let down by another host, Claudine and David were able to accommodate us within 2hrs of making the booking online. They have some great plans for added extras in the property. I would highly recommend to friends and family. We enjoyed walking round the village with our dog and seeing all the local wildlife including the peacocks. There is also a fantastic inn a very sort distance away.
