The view from our cabin was beautiful, the cabin was immaculate right down to the comfortable bed. It was peaceful and the bird life was a joy to watch. The park was close to town and waking tracks. We choose the Settlement Historic Hotel because it allowed dogs to stay, which was a huge bonus. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Our room was on the corner adjacent to the pool and the main road. It was a super quiet night so we could hear the traffic light beeping sound, but thankfully not much other noise. The location is excellent. We walked into the main hub for wharf activities, pubs, dinner and drinks. Shower/bathroom is a little dated, but it does the job. The heater was excellent, as was the electric blanket!
Excellent on every level, nothing was too much trouble.
We had our little dog with us and felt so welcome. We booked a pet friendly room in advance which was great to be able to do.

Good central location. Good room, reasonable size. Amenities very good, better than expected. Comfortable, the bed in particular, but the pillows too hard for me. Reasonably priced. Impressed that it was pet friendly and you can get Seniors discount.
Location was really good, a park across the road to walk pets, it was quiet even with it being pet friendly, I think the brick really helps block noise, we could barely hear our dogs bark when we got back. Clean room, good bed, aircon on when we arrived. Very friendly staff. Walking distance to town, Curry Club best curry ever.
