We love the overall feel of the place. What some people consider “old” is what we look for. The view of Main Street is stunning from Big and Rich room. Dinner at Legends was amazing as usual. We were there during a blizzard this time. There was a problem with staff being able to get to work, but the front desk and the bellman was incredible at finding us a place for breakfast and kept us updated on the clearing of the parking lot since all the vehicles had been snowed in.
The rooms were beautifully decorated…warm and cozy. We loved the outside door access to the parking lot. We enjoyed breakfast at Oggie’s and, finally, a television with access to the football game.
I went in with relatively low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. The check-in process was easy, and the room was lovely! Very comfortable bed, bathroom and sitting area. Even though our room faced the parking lot and street it was quiet all night and we slept beautifully. I would definitely stay here again.
The bed was comfortable and room was pleasant. It was handy for the pizza place and restaurant for dinner and breakfast as they were both on the main floor. Parking was onsite, which was a big plus for us as last time we stayed in Deadwood we had a several block walk to the car parking lot.
