Upon entering my room, I was delighted to discover a hand-written card thoughtfully placed on the bed, welcoming me back to Mahali. The attention to detail extended throughout the entire property, from the impeccably designed rooms to the meticulously maintained common areas. The staff at Mahali were the epitome of friendliness and professionalism. Their genuine smiles and eagerness to assist created an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply engaging in casual conversation, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs were met with utmost care and attention. Cleanliness is paramount at Mahali, and it is evident in every corner of the hotel. The housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring that each room is spotless and inviting. The hotel room was very big and comfortable, the bathroom as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They make sure that you get everything that you need. The breakfast was the best I have eaten in Zanzibar. A lot of choices available and so delicious. The host Anna is so nice and helps you with anything. I truly felt like home there. Would absolutely recommend this place and hope that I can come back soon. Thanks to Anna, Paolo and all the staff!

The rooms were really big. The Wi-Fi worked without problems. The breakfast was so delicious. Rae and Lee gave us every day a different breakfast, which was really good, especially the fresh fruits and the smoothies.

We were blown away by the stunning design, aesthetics and impeccable maintenance of the rooms, which made our stay a truly luxurious and enjoyable experience. Each meal was a uniquely curated culinary adventure that left us craving for more. We felt like we were on a foodie's paradise! Abou, the staff member, was simply amazing. He anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. He suggested the most incredible activities that catered to our interests and made sure we had a blast! Ahmid, the driver, was an absolute pro - skillful, considerate, and patient. He made sure we had a stress-free stay and took us to all the best places on the island. The welcome drinks were a delightful surprise that made us feel instantly welcomed and appreciated. The entire staff was so courteous and hospitable that we felt like royalty! We can't rate Barbara's place highly enough - it's a must-stay location for anyone visiting Paje. Trust us, you won't regret it!
