The terrace has great views across the medina and the peninsula. Monia, the host, was super nice and welcoming. She speaks French and we speak English, so we communicated with the help of her son Farouk (over the phone, as he lives in France). Farouk was also exceptionally nice and helped us in a second, finding a mechanic when we had car problems. Overall, Mahdia is a great place to visit, but staying in this apartment is a reason enough to visit this town.
