Don’t know how they keep it so clean. Hosts are so lovely and clearly like speaking with travellers. Very relaxed vibes. Really enjoyed driving there and back. Loved the sunrise.

The villa was spacious. And the pool always warm. During winter were such a paradise. In the morning we could see sunrise right from our villa. The food is amazing and alot. So if you like eat alot then it perfect for you. In the evening there is camp fire and again mohammed made it perfect above everything. Dont forget the sand dune bashing, and camel ride. Bader will make sure you have unforgetable memories. Ps : if you are afraid with extreme activity like me, dont give an excuse dude just DO IT. Live only ONCE.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We loved our stay at SandGlass Camp, Said is fantastic, kind and friendly. Simple traditional bedouin tents with very comfortable and clean beds. It is a small camp which we liked and they don't charge extra to take you to the camp if you don't have a 4WD vehicle and you need to leave your car at the meeting point car park. The food was very good and plenty both at dinnertime and at breakfast. The location of the camp is good and there are no other camps in the vicinity, so you get an undisturbed night sky and stars view, very nice sand dunes behind the tents that you can easily climb for sunset and sunrise views. Said took us in his car to see his camels and after dinner he showed us the stars and entertained us with talks of his travels and interesting stories and info about Oman. I highly recommend this camp if you are after a simple, genuine desert experience.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay at Wahiba Bedouins private camp, it more than exceeded our expectations. We spent two nights at the camp as part of a 2 1/2 week trip to Oman. We were met in town by Muhammad, the brother of the camp owner, who is very proud of the camp. We followed him in our 4x4 as he escorted us to camp. Upon arrival we were taken to the sun shelter and were served coffee, dates and refreshments. There was always plenty of food and drink for our entire stay. The camp consists of two guest tents, a dining tent, daytime sun shelter, kitchen tent and bathroom shelter with shower. Everything is done in a traditional way and is spotlessly clean. Muhammad is justifiably proud of his camp and how it is run. We also met Hasan at the camp. He is the camp cook but does much more than that. Hasan has a very engaging personality and always has a smile on his face. He regaled us with stories and answered any questions we had. Did I mention he is an outstanding cook! we enjoyed some of the best meals on our trip at the camp including a camel biryani (sorry vegetarians, plenty of veggie options as well). We chose this camp because it is small and we really wanted to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the desert, and that is exactly what we experienced. another highlight was an excursion to Muhammad’s village/oasis where he has a house and they have date palm trees, mango and other fruit trees, as well as grow alfalfa for the goats and camels. The visit was another highlight as was driving amongst the dunes in the desert. Thanks to Muhammad and Hasan for a truly memorable experience.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. They only have 5 tents isolated from the town, which makes for a more quiet and secluded experience. Dinner was delicious and breakfast much beyond our expectations. Service was impeccable and Faiz was extremely attentive, nice and polite. He truly cares for every single guest and makes sure that you have all that you need. He even stopped to show us a couple of baby camels on our way back to town.
