The area is nice as well, many restaurants, cute stores, a nice playground right across the street, 20 minutes walk to the ferry to Auckland. Staff so friendly as well! Would definitely come here again

Small area of all day available food is a HUGH plus...can nake yourself a sandwuch, fruit, coffee/tea, cookies. When you dont know your way around or want to stay in to enjoy the gardens and birds , Qis thoughtfulness in providing staples for the day is so appreciated. Qi, her husband and mother are amazing hosts. This was a quick stop prior to boarding a cruise ship.But we look forward to coming back one day just to stay at echo lodge.
