We did the full day jeep safari, and it was incredible. We saw so much wildlife, and the scenery was stunning. Witnessing wild rhinos, monkeys, and crocodiles was a major highlight during my year of living and traveling around Asia.

There are a few small markets nearby and it takes less than 15 minutes to walk into town. There are also bicycles to use and many tuktuk drivers to hitch a ride with. The brilliant part of being outside of the city is the access to nature. My first day I saw 2 rhinos. One sleeping on the riverbank and one directly across from the hotel. The locals will excitedly tell you what's around and walk with you so you can safely see it. Near the hotel are many places to watch over the riverbanks and the small village life around makes it a perfect place to be in Chitwan.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the WiFi signal was okay. There's an in-house restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices, and you can arrange activities and transportation as well. So basically, they have you all covered. But the best part of all is the family who runs this homestay: dad is a nice man who can be your guide if you take a jungle walk; mom manages the business, and the lovely daughter helps them. They're all very competent and charming, and do their best to make your stay great. I can honestly say a big part of my experience in Sauraha was being adopted for a few days by this family, and if I return to Chitwan, I'll definitely stay at this place again. 200% recommended.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. Bishnu was a great and warm host! We had a fun safari with jeep and by walking. We saw many Rhinos! The other guide Raj was also an amazing guide! There were great food options and Bishnu was very helpful. All in all an amazing stay, we would definitely recommend and would love to come again.

Where to begin, this was the most beautiful stay we could have imagined! A beautiful hotel in the jungle where we truely truely felt like family. Rooms and food were exceptional but what made this stay so fantastic was the hospitality of Sujan and Renu and all the staff. We felt like part of a big family! The safari tour organised there was better then we could have imagined and Yum was the best guide! So full of knowledge and a burning passion for the forest and it’s conservation. My partner had gotten sick in india and after a few days needed to go to hospital. Renu took us to the hospital, visited us, brought us things we needed and helped us like our own mother. We can’t thank Sujan and Renu enough for their care and love without a doubt we will be back to Wild Horizons!
