All rooms at Hotel National have air-conditioning, flat-screen cable TVs and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms also have bathrobes and slippers, while the best units have spa baths. It was our first visit to National Hotel. And everything went just perfect. I ordered room and soon realised I forgot to mention I want double bed, not 2 twin beds. Called reception 1 day before arrival, they told it's ok and they would organise. Next - we arrived earlier - and our room was there, nice and clean. Room was spacious with real bath (I come to appreciate that) that has heated floor - something we really enjoyed. Sound isolation: almost zero sound that could be heard from neighbours, very little sound from corridor...yet street could be heard. Cleanliness: we tried to find something non-clean. Failed. Everything was really clean and comfortable. Food: you got 15% discount for bar at the ground floor. Breakfast was served at the ground floor, walls deorated with vintage/art nouveau style alcohol drink labels. Food itself was tasty. My personal thoughts: at 64 euros price for 4* hotel in the very heart of Klaipėda - this hotel is just unbeatable. If I am to travel to Klaipėda, i would surely try National Hotel.
