We stayed at Mimoza Mirissa during our whale watching trip to Mirissa on B&B basis. Everything about this little hotel is excellent. It's situated at walking distance to Mirissa fishing harbor where whale watching tours start and also less than 1.5 km from the secret beach and <1km from Mirissa town. The rooms are comfy, well maintained and come with all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and courteous and provides excellent service. And flexibility at arrangements is also noteworthy. And all of this comes at a very fair asking price. If you're visiting Mirissa area this is the easiest to recommend. But you may have to make reservations in advance. We originally booked Belika for three nights, but ended up staying an extra night we loved it so much (and wish we could have stayed even longer). Julien and the rest of the Belika crew made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay, and helped us make the most of our stay in Hiri. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a great pool to hang out at when you want a little break from the beach. Plus lots of friendly animals to hang out with :) And the BEST breakfast anywhere in Sri Lanka. Would recommend an early morning surf/yoga before breakfast to work up an appetite!
