We spent 4 nights at the Riviera Champasak and we appreciated of course the river view, tha garden but the staff (in particular Mr T.) really makes the difference in terms of customer service. They were so careful to every single detail, always smiling and fast to accomodate any request. They arranged the tour (driver) at the 4000 islands 100$ and the airport transfer to Ubon (Thailand). A very positive feedback also for the restaurant. I really enjoyed the food (local and western). The rooms are basic but the river view is worthed. We also used the bycicles (for free) and we cycled to Champasak centre (around 4km) and they also organized a scooter for 140k kip. Thank you for the great experience. I

Sanga Hostel is set in Pakse, less than 5 minutes' walk from Wat Luang and just 10 minutes' walk from the Kong River. A highlight of the area is the Pakse Golden Buddha, which is situated across the river on a hill, just 4 kilometers from the hostel. everything was fine ! very good place to stay!

Impossible to describe the beauty of this island with Don Som guesthouse as the perfect place for relaxing, swinging in one of the hammocks, reading a book on one of the terraces, swimming in the Mekong, cycling around the island, enjoying great food, taking a cooking class, having interesting talks with the very nice hosts Sander and Tanoi, doing yoga, or just sit and be mesmerized by the incredible beauty of the Mekong river. We stayed 4 nights in the double room with private terrace and private bathroom. What a joy to open the door of the bungalow in the morning and see the sun come up on the river. Our bungalow was spacious, cosy, comfortable and very clean with nice fresh smelling bedsheets. We recommend to rent bycicles at Don Khon and take them by boat to Don Som as long as it is not possible to rent bycicles at the guesthouse. Our stay at Don Som guesthouse is a highlight in our 8 months of travelling. Highly recommended! 💗

Ngoc is very helpful, and an amazing cook. She was able to assist us with many things, bus, scooter renting. The place is very nice even if not in the city center, but to be honest that did not affect us at all, also because Ngoc is always available and can contact a tuk tuk for you. I definitely recommend the place and I hope to go back soon to enjoy the rice soup in the morning for breakfast in the beautiful garden.
