The rooms are magnificent, in traditional Cycladic style, tastefully decorated and very functional. And spotless clean. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Communication was very easy and pleasant. A plus: his red wine is really superb.

A refrigerator is also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Each unit has a private bathroom with free toiletries. Free private parking is available at the villa. The staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and the complex has everything you might need since there are not so many places for food and drink in the area. The beach in front of porto Koundouros is very clean and the waters are crystal clear.

A supermarket for the essentials can be found 1,3 km away from Cavo d’ Oro. Kea Port lies 1.4 km. Free parking is possible on site. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It is a cute, cozy little room with a beautiful view of the city and the port. The hosts were helpful and responsive. You can walk to town from the room either down the road, or via a short cut that one of the hosts will gladly point out to you. Be warned though that it is rather steep and has some loose rocks. One note of caution: the walls were somewhat thin and we could hear our neighbors alarm going off for about an hour from 5-6AM. Bring earplugs!
