The place is roomy and very comfortable. If for you the decoration is important, this place is very tasteful. The neighborhood and the building itself gave us the opportunity to have a real Scottish experience way better than a regular hotel. We felt very safe too. The neighborhood is quiet, and you get a nice view from the living room windon. We were a little worried about the beds because when we sat on them, the mattresses felt a little thin, but it didn't bother us at all! We had a great night sleep. ...and the shower! Was perfect. Great water pressure, and super clean. Definitely, a place I would like to stay again, and for longer to really enjoy the city. I can't comment about the proximity to restaurants, stores, or public transportation because, again, we only stayed one night, we had our own car, and everything we needed with us. However it was easy getting here, park the car wasn't an issue, and it was a safe place.
