Full breakfast is very well done. If you’re looking for a stop between Glasgow or Edinburgh, and Inverness, this place checks all the boxes.

I loved the main building, the anex we had the room in, our room, the gardens, the exceptional breakfast, heartwarming introdudtion of the place also the receptionist was really nice. I have been to numorous hotels, but this one was different: somhow nicer and also more friendly, like made me feel comfortable from the first moment.

Everything about the property, and in particular the owners who provided all of the services, including an outstanding breakfast, was excellent. If there’s anything I can say, that was a bit difficult was getting our big heavy bags up to our rooms. It’s a narrow staircase, and we are an elderly couple, but I have to say that the owner couldn’t have been more helpful personally taking our bags to our rooms. Overall, it was a delightful stay and kudos go to the owners.

If you have the good fortune to find this place available during your visit to Pitlochry, book it without hesitation. Your host James cares about his property and his guests. Quality appliances, tastefully decorated, comfy furniture and premium trim. You will not be disappointed. Stayed there 3 nights and wistfully had to leave. If you like to cook the kitchen is top-notch, but bring your own condiments and spices. Experienced hosts like James do not leave leftovers from previous guests. Will definitely book again if we revisit the area.
