The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. Among the various facilities of this property are free WiFi, a bar and on-site dining. So much character in this idyllic setting! It is an old inn, so there is no air conditioning, but we had a fan and two windows so we could create a breeze in our room. The food was outstanding and the service beyond reproach. Lola made our visit extremely enjoyable; she was attentive and really enhanced our experience. The gardens are lovely, as is the walk to the old church yard.
