The bedroom was full of character - wooden beams, sloping ceiling, uneven floor. The location was exceptionally quiet. Bathroom fittings were in good working order, though given a Victorian look. The full English breakfast was good, as was dinner the night before. Free parking in a car park intended for walkers on the Chiltern Way. Located at the edge of the Chilterns, there are good walks to be had.
Location fantastic, walking distance to central Oxford, very close to Westgate shopping centre with its many restaurants and Sainsbury's. Secure parking in gated car park for one car included which was invaluable. Useful welcome pack, great wifi. Check in instructions sent via what's app, detailed with photos and so useful. great hotel and location, bus stop right outside which takes 20 mins to get to the centre. lots of shops, restaurants in walking distance. the free parking at the back had loads of space! there’s also a near by car park if Theres no space here. bedroom was big with a kitchen area, bed was comfty and being the room by the window, it was very quiet! there are 3 floors and no lift
pleasant staff . Plenty of soft towels and a good bed. Our rate included breakfast which was freshly cooked and included a welcome vegan option. A nice touch was the bottled water and coffee sachets. Biscuits were also included but not suitable for us Although there is no car park , there is car parking nearby.(the wide drive outside for example) The room we had (3) had opaque windows which gave privacy but no view of the weather outside.
