Porthmadog

With free onsite parking, it retains many original features, such as beamed ceilings, fireplaces and stained glass. Guests can relax in the garden or on the terrace. Staff : Note that our cottage unit was located in a wider "caravan park". Reception service was available and useful. Smooth check in experience. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park. Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Note that the cottage is located on a step-up hence you will need to take a wide stairs. In our view we were lucky since we got one of the "high" cottage with a wider view of the park. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Snowdon, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. Within Snowdown area, although most things are at least 20-30min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was very fast (OK for streaming). We were there exploring Snowdon and its surrounding. Plenty parking spaces. The cottage was 2 storey, hence if you have very small kids, it might not be suitable. Our kids were 4 and 6, they were fine with the steep and small stairs leading to the small 2nd floor.

Very central location on the high street in central Barmouth so within walking distance to everything. Ground floor so no steps/stairs. Sizeable apartment with seperate spaces. Quiet despite the central location. Booking manager was super helpful in advance with advice, directions, info on local area and car parking (a pass is left in the apartment which allows free parking at the big (main) car park by the beach/ prom.
This was the nicest place we stayed on our recent trip to Wales. It was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and very well equipped. The extra loo outside and washer/dryer would be handy for large groups. Everything worked flawlessly, it is a very short walk to the water, and a pleasant stroll to Porthmadog. Free parking nearby was easy to find at the time of year we visited. We would love to stay here again.
Excellent staff Good central location Breakfast freshly cooked Secure parking nearby
It looked all quite newly refurbished. There was netfilx available included in the price. The kitchen was fully equipped. Great location near the caatle. Free parking in a public carpark was alao included. Iwan sent us three videos explaining how to arrive to the car park.
The property was spotlessly clean and looked newly refurbished and decorated throughout. Kitchen, bathroom and all the furnishings looked new and were high quality. Beds really comfortable. The property is in a fantastic location, easy to find with parking outside at night or in car park just around the corner with a free parking pass. Great base for exploring Llanberis and the rest of gorgeous North Wales. Great chip shop over the road and lots of places to eat within short walk. Would definitely recommend this property.
Newly decorated, good size apartment, great location, clean, close to amenities, stores, take aways. Parking nearby or local car park, thanks for the parking permit.
Stayed in a studio apartment, which was fine for one person, but if two people, would be ok fr one night, but a little bit cramped if longer. There is a very basic kitchen area, so limited self catering is available, but didn't use. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, and a good breakfast provided. Limited car parking available, but if the car park is full, street parking outside on a quiet street is available. The hotel is well located in the centre of Criccieth, but just off the main street and peaceful.
Excellent hotel and location, easy street parking nearby, clean spacious room (the fridge was very useful). If I go to Barmouth again (a high possibility) I'd stay at this establishment again without any hesitation. I'd also recommend to family and friends.
Location was good and the town had a lot to offer during the day - most things closed by evening and night. There was a car park 2 minutes walk away from the hotel which had free parking form 4:30pm till 10am
