Great location with free off street parking. Just make sure you give registration on arrival. Lovely first floor room which was very nicely furnished and beautifully clean. They kindly let me checkin early. Immediately booked a second night as the area was so delightful and my room was very calm and peaceful. Car parked just outside which is always a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Beds comfortable and clean linen, staff OK, 24 hour front door keys given with room, limited free parking, but large paid for car park opposite the hotel 20 seconds walk away. Pier and fun rides and restaurants 1 minute walk away.

The rooms where comfy and decorated with a homely feel. The location and car park was very convenient. Not many hotels are a walking distance to town and have free parking. Staff are friendly. I personally think the bad reviews were not to do with the service but discrimination. This hotel definitely has potential and I feel like the staff are working hard to make it Better. I think the improvements that need to be made are reflected in the price a it’s very cheap compared to other hotels in the area.
Nice people. The attention to detail was impressive. Room was comfortable with excellent view. All extras provided in the room that you could need including toiletries, fridge, iron and board which is unusual for a B&B. The breakfast was the ideal way to start the day. Free parking in the adjacent car park until 10:30 am. Pleasantly surprised. Will be the first option if I need a B&B in the area again.
Lovely property, close to the entrance of Castle Hedingham, with quiet street parking nearby. Clean, very comfortable rooms. Made welcome by friendly owner. Excellent breakfast.
Friendly staff and owner, John - we had a lovely welcome. Breakfast was good. Location central to the town -excellent. Car parking - a little packed when we first arrived but we squeezed in, registering for free parking was easy. The bar was great. People were friendly. Good bedroom and en suite - although a bit cramped we were happy. Following major storm damage the weekend before (the chimney stack fell on the roof) everything was clean and working. Well done for getting things back to welcome guests.
