There is free parking and secure bike lock up on site. Warm Atmosphere. Very nice & tidy. Breakfast was outclass. Bed was comfy. Easy to access room.
Keswick
Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park.
The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities.
The views from the breakfast room are so good it was once listed in The Times Top 10 Most Scenic Restaurants.
Wonderful settings, located right in front of the lake promenade start, with a beautiful view towards the mountains and even the lake. Also very close to Keswick city center. The room was very comfortable, the lounge area was as well. Very good breakfast. I definitely recommend the Highfield.
Ambleside

Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful.
We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset.
The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon.
We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.
Ambleside

Absolutely lovely stay at this hotel - staff attentive and incredibly friendly, made us feel welcome and helped with all requests! Great spot right in the centre of Ambleside but still quiet, and nice view from our balcony over the village and the fells in the background.
Bowness-on-Windermere

The location was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was spotlessly clean and staff couldn’t do enough.

Great location, free parking in the car park next to the guesthouse. Our room was very clean, comfortable and perfect for a short break away. Rob kindly organised some beers for our room for my partners birthday, he was very friendly and welcoming, we didn’t need to contact him during our stay but nothing would have been too much trouble had we have needed too. No breakfast included but this didn’t bother us as there’s so many places around.
Cosy, comfortable premises located in town centre. Nice bar and restaurant areas. Had nice breakfast with good choice and also delicious meal in evening. Pleasant, efficient staff. Arrived couple of hours before check in, but able to leave bags and they were kindly taken upstairs and deposited in room. Was also allocated a voucher for free parking in nearby public car parks.
Self catering apartment beautifully furnished. Central location with car park pass for free parking in car park 2 minutes away. This was not a problem as it wasn’t too busy being February.
Great location and parking was accessible, there is a small car park and street parking. Right in the centre of bowness-on-Windermere so walking distance to all the shops. Owners were contactable at all times if needed and very friendly! Room was just as expected, with an en-suite and tidy facilities

Great location just out of Keswick, but right on my walking route for the next day (Catbells / Derwent Water). While pay and display parking was required in the main car park, I managed to find the free parking over the road which was a bonus. Tasty breakfast in a nice dining room, plenty of choice and made fresh. Spacious bedroom with comfy beds and nice clean sheets. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The music in the bar was perfect for my taste too as was the local beer.
Stayed here before and I shall stay here again any time I am in the area, great size for us and the two little dogs. Quiet and tucked away cosy little apartment in a nice little area, everything you might need is not far, few great little sandwich bakery type places, good chippy, friendly pub, etc. Free parking nearby, enclosed yard. Would recommend 🙂

Very comfy beds, breakfast was tasty, and good tea and coffee is served. Hotel has a quiet bar used by the locals with low prices. Free parking nearby next to the station, or ask about the disc system. Location is good for exploring the quieter Cumbrian coast or dipping into the far pricier Lake District.
