Absolutely everything. The location, wow, easy to find, Katinka was waiting for us. The most amazing hosts, absolutely perfect. Room cozy, perfect for us, very clean, view from the window spectacular. The dinner was perfect, wine so good, everything bought local. Breakfast to die for. We are deffinetly planning to come back. The sign in the room personalized for us !!! Wow, what a beautiful touch. Thank you for an amazing stay !!!

We stopped on the way to Lyon from Paris at Yannick's chalet. The chalet is very well located in a beautiful and quiet area. Yannick is a very welcoming host, the room was spacious and comfy with access to the kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely go back there to explore the Morvan region!

Set in Bazoches and only 13 km from Vézelay Basilica, LE RELAIS VAUBAN offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Stopped off for a night at Le Relais Vauban whilst walking the Way of Saint James. It was a great place to stop. The welcome, the food, the facilities - all first class. The premises are spotlessly clean with a great lively restaurant with friendly staff and customers.. Perhaps the food is too good for pilgrims! We had a good night's sleep in the very comfortable bed before having an excellent breakfast next day. Everything was perfect, true hospitality from the great guys running the place. Bazoches is a lovely village with a beautiful church, but make sure you have a spare euro coin to light it up and see it properly!!

Everything was perfect! Very charming apartment. We arrived almost at night, but everything was comfortable and ready for our arrival. We received a door code in advance so that we could enter the apartment ourselves at night. We also received details about the parking lot in advance (it’s right a few meters from the apartments). The apartment had everything you needed, everything was clean, everything had soul, comfort and a lot of charming details.
Large rooms with windows overlooking garden, comfortable bed, extra large in Room 10, extra large bathroom, attractive reception bar area and breakfast room. Outside large terrace with swimming pool. In the centre of town and very helpful receptionist. Secure parking with a lift down to parking area. Excellent breakfast.
Good location and easy to find with street parking available adjacent to the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with a well appointed bathroom. Reception was friendly and efficient with use of key and after-hours security explained very well.
Lovely and quirky French house in the old quarter of Avalon. Very convenient free parking directly opposite house. Great location. Clean and comfortable. Access via key code sent to us on the day. Good Wi-Fi. Well equipped. Unlike other reviewers the church bells did not bother us- heard them at midnight then not again til 8am. Had a good night’s sleep!
A lovely old property (possibly some sort of alms house complex?) which is now largely used as sheltered housing for older people (Very few in evidence!). The rooms are very simply furnished but very clean and the kitchen has everything you need for breakfast or simple cooking. It’s a bit “old school” but good value for money and a very good location. Secure parking is €5.
