I was a very nice room and the patio looking out at the mountains and river was a wonderful place to have my morning coffee. The room it self had everything a couple needs for comfort and relaxing. The dog really enjoyed the green space off the patio. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I liked the online check in and getting the room pass code so I did not have to go to the office to check in.

Outside amenities were terrific and clean. Lovely areas to sit and enjoy the sunset. The facilities in the room were good and it was spotlessly clean. So quiet. The family that owned the motel were so helpful with tips on where to go and visit within the area. Nakusp is 30 mins away where you can pick up fresh food if needed. The motel is 500 yards away from the Faruquier to Needles ferry crossing. There is a 9 hole Golf course across the road which looked fantastic. Wish we had stayed longer.

The beautiful garden, the view of the mountains and valley(not to mention the hot tub overlooking it) and our lovely accommodation ! Everything was thought of and super comfortable! I loved all the collectables that were around the rooms, it gave it very ‘Canadian’ vibe. Our breakfast was amazing…. and too much, but it was soo delicious we had to eat it all 😃 Most of all our host was so helpful and super friendly!!! We are both well traveled and she would definitely be up there as a favourite super host. ❤️ Only regret we weren’t able to stay longer!

Guests have the option to book adjoining suites on the same floor. Super comfortable and relaxed. Felt like staying in your own place away from home. Great location and parking. Warm. Recycling. The fully fledged kitchen in the room was ideal for when we wanted to make dinner at home. If I'm back I'm Nelson I will try to stay here again .
