From the moment we stepped out of our rental vehicle, the serene energy around The Inn was palpable. We were made to feel welcome and at home. Chokla received us with grace and hospitality. So many extras are added throughout to make guests feel genuinely treated. From water, cool drinks, fruit, cookies, coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby to the most welcoming smell of freshly baked bread right in the room! On the counter, we found many more thoughtful provisions, and the small fridge was filled with water, more cool drinks, butter, milk, and jam for the bread. A beautifully set side table with quality crockery, flatware, and wine glasses made us decide to have our simple dinner of bread, wine and charcuterie right there. What a treat! The bed, pillows, and linen are superiour quality. The towels were all fluffy, spotless, and artfully folded. We found the bathroom amenities thoughtful and generous, too. Chef Robert treated us so kindly, his breakfasts are tasty, nutritious, and balanced. When we left for Tempe, Chef even brought us some extra slices of cornbread and butter for the road, insisting that we take more water and fruit too. What a serene retreat from the bustle. The quality of the accommodation is superb and such a beautiful setting around a central pool and courtyard in West Sedona. The staff are outstanding and service and food all amazing. This is such a special place to stay and they throw in lots of little extras like the fresh baked bread and cookies that make it all that little bit better than other places. The breakfasts are also amazing. Expensive but worth the money.

Great location in Sedona, the room had partial red rock views across the parking lot. The bathroom was updated and clean. They had all the usual amenities. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator, so keep that in mind. Considering the prices of hotels in Sedona, I think this was a fair value.
The motel is within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. There is a nice sized pool and free parking. The room is large enough for 4 people. It has small refrigerator, a small microwave, and a table with 2 comfortable chairs.
The room was beautiful. The views were stunning and it had a couple of really delicious restaurants in the parking lot. I loved my stay and was very happy with it. Staff was super friendly.
You can tell this is an older motel that has been updated. The updates were nice and the rooms were fine for a one night stay. The breakfast area is rather small but you could take your breakfast out to the pool located across the parking lot. The buffet was basic; cereal, toast, yogurt, bagels with a few hot items as well. It was an acceptable motel if you plan to spend more time outside the motel than in. We did not use the pool but it looked nice although it is in the middle of the parking lot and you can hear the roar traffic.
First time to Sedona, so learning experience. We liked being able to see the mountains while in bed along with balcony and doors which opened to it. The property is across the parking lot from a wonderful bakery for lunch breakfast and dinner. Next to the bakery is a decent pizza place.
The property is easy to get to and away from the craziness of downtown Sedona but close enough to all the places of interest.
Fantastic stay at the Matterhorn Inn for two nights in February. Bed was supper comfortable, room was clean, and perfect room temperature. Bed positioned so it looks straight out at the mountain to watch sunrise rise above it. Large, spacious room and the shower is both hot and powerful. Loved everything about it! Free parking a bonus too!
