Lake.City is, to.the foreigner, a bit of a surprise, an artistic hub in deepest SC. Super. The hotel is very smart and has great artwork in the public areas. The rooms leave nothing to be desired - big.comfortable, good heating, and excellent shower. Unadvertised continental.breakfast thrown in. Easy unloading and parking.

The art work (the displays changes) within the hotel and the garden is almost worth a stay in itself. The staff is super helpful and courteous. Parking is plentiful. This is my second stay visit there, and it won't be my last.

Great restaurant onsite, friendly staff, good parking (free as well), It was a surprisingly upscale hotel in such a small town. The food was great at the restaurant!

The hotel was seemed like someone brought a high end hotel to Lake City, SC. Throughout the lobby, hallways, and even my room had artwork (museum/art gallery quality). Everything was clean, even the parking lot. Speaking of parking, there was plenty of space for it. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern with tile and marble (or marble like).
