The breakfast was absolutely horrible . We had pancakes one morning and waffles the next . No options. Both times they were served with sausages and a small fruit cup; consisting of grapes, cantaloupe and honeydew.
Only the grapes were fresh.The welcoming food is wine and cubed cheese, totally underwhelming. There were grapes and olives and 2 bottles of wine. Nothing was replenished; that was for everybody. Breakfast is not served until eight at the earliest. If you are in a group larger than 2, you will not all eat at the same time. This is because the kitchen is so tiny that they can't prepare all the food at the same time.
The pancakes were served with melted whipped cream and absolutely no flavor. The waffles were mushy with no flavor.
This motel, just 10 minutes' walk from Capitola beach and village, offers free Wi-Fi. A seasonal outdoor swimming pool and guest launderette are available for guest use.

Very friendly reception staff. Good size room. Small balcony. Pool looked good but was too cold to get in unfortunately. Good for highway access and walking into Capitola. Breakfast ok but too much disposable plastic etc.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The room and staff were amazing. Lisa took the time and walked me around the whole facility. Breakfast was wonderful. And having a dedicated parking place was a major plus! Being a solo female traveler, I felt 100% safe. I will definitely be returning.
Located at a prime location. Next to all the restaurants, across the street from the beach, across the colored house, and next door to the arcades. Paid parking is $45 a day to have a secured parking.
Very comfortable, clean, and beautiful hotel. Our room was facing the parking lot and was very quiet also at night. Great coffee machine at reception available at all times. The breakfast was quiet rich too. We didn‘t use the pool, but it looked nice.

The breakfast was ok for most people. I'm GF, so I didn't expect much. I also only drink decaf, they only had herbal tea 1 day.
We were able to take a short walk to Peets, Whole Foods and CVS. Through that parking lot at the back of CVS you can access a path along the creek to the warf. It's a bit over 2 miles RT. It wS also close to freeway, and 41st street. They were doing some repairs on the hotel, some of the smells were bad. But all in all were happy with our choices.
The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is great and having a parking lot that isn't all open really brings peace of mind. Most of the staff was really kind and helpful when we needed anything. Andre, Julian, the cheerful lady and - I believe - the manager at the front desk, the ladies at the breakfast area.. Thank you!
