It is a special place at a special location...you are far away from crowded places, enjoying the beautiful sunset, pool, food and people (staff and owners)...the room was clean, the view was calming and beautiful...accommodation (bathroom with salt water and room) is a bit robinson-style in a good way. We found it as a very good place to deal with ourselves and relax for the last days of our holiday. Most importantly, the feeling was like we could ask the owner and staff for anything - to assist with the trip, to provide bugs spray for the room (my wife was super sensitive to little animals), to eat whenever we wanted, etc. Always helpful and eager to meet our needs. :) thank you!

The location is absolutely stunning. Quiet. Peaceful. Rocky entrance( the Lodge has been sitting at the cliff, but the entrance to the ocean is sandy!) to the ocean gives it its boost. The sunsets are spectacular. All of the staff are just so friendly, lovely and always helpful. The accommodation has a the right touch of Africa and is clean. Food is top taste. Local dogs- especially Africa give to this place a special “home” feeling. Two monkeys jumping across the roofs are just the cherry on the cake. All of their trips are so valuable for money?! And their employees for the trips are the most lovely people as well. We did dolphin trip, snorkeling and Safari blue with Abdul and it was just perfect. He is so friendly, responsible, helpful and friendly. Thank you to all employees including the owner.

As a first timer in Zanzibar, i was looking for a place with some peace and quiet to recharge the batteries and Kwanza just blew my mind. THE STAFF made us feel very comfortable and made sure everything was always on point. The room was very clean and tidy, the VIEWS were AMAZING, the food was GREAT, Will most definitely go back! Paradise spot. Beautiful setting leading onto stunning beach. Loved the outdoor gym and hammocks all set on a sandy area. Excellent dinner and breakfast - freshly made and tasty. Room was basic but clean and functional. Very friendly staff, too. Check-out was 11am but they invited us to stay in the resort as long as we wanted after checking out. Really fautless.
