This was the second time we were staying in this hotel. Last time we were there during the earthquake and we were very impressed by the way the staff handled the whole situation. This time we were there during the typhoon and they did not let us down. They were exceptionally thoughtful about children and babies and making the family comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice place. Building is brand new and we safely stayed there during Kong Rey tajfun. There is also a place to park the car safely in front of the building.

The hostel location was convenient and easy to reach, even without a car, it took 15min walking from the rear exit of the train station. The shampoo and body wash were from a nature local brand (ChaTzuTang). There was a nice noodle breakfast restaurant and a convenient store nearby. The host was very help on booking a taxi for us. Also, we were allowed to leave our luggages temporary after checking-out and going for hiking. The hostel has a lift, which was friendly for people with heavy or large luggages. It was a bonus to be able to use the washing machine for free.
In the Hualien City district of Hualien City, close to Hualien Tianhui Temple, Happiness is my home features a shared lounge and a washing machine.

Our room was clean and spacious and the twin beds were comfortable.
The guest house seemed very new and fresh and it smelled lovely too.
We chose the location because it is close to the train station. There are some good places to eat around there too, but we caught a taxi to get to the ocean front promenade.
We appreciated the fruit platter and the concern the owners showed us when there was a severe typhoon approaching.
