The communication with the property owners was smooth via email, and the owner's son speaks very good English while the dad recommends and finds things out for you. We didn't try the breakfast there but Bolu has lots to offer in terms of restaurants - try the local manti. There are also great hamams (Turkish baths) for men and women separately, cheaper than in Istanbul. We travelled from Göreme to Bolu by night bus and we were very lucky to be allowed to stay in our room before the official check in time - the owners pride themselves in being a family business, safe, flexible and comfortable - and it's true. The room was very spacious, had very good central heating, and it contained everything we needed. Thank you for service and kindness!

The location is very beautiful and in good proximity to Bolu city center along with Lake Abant and Lake Golcuk. The hotel is very cheap compared to the others around it which makes it a great value. The owner’s daughter is SO adorable 😍
