This was the property that we were most looking forward to during our visit to Sweden. We were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with the separate bathroom and an added bonus of a sauna. We loved the vintage feel and the history of the place. Breakfast was an excellent spread, catering for all tastes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Free parking on site. We spent 3 days exploring the Halle-Hunneberg area. A very special experience.

The hotel was perfectly located on the canal side with plenty of parking nearby and a short walk to town.
Check in was easy and there were hot drinks and biscuits available.
The room had everything we needed and the laundry was crisp and clean.
Breakfast in the cute dining room was plentiful and with a wide choice of hot and cold items.
All the staff, especially Mariah on reception at check in were all helpful and friendly.
Husband loved breakfast. I loved bed. We came to town for hearing aid appointment. We appreciated help with parking gadget for dashboard that we did not have. Warmth of owner/manager who spoke good English.

Nice hotel located 2 kms out of city center, but walking distance, for most. Rooms were nice and clean with bathroom and shower. All neccessary amenities. room faced the parking lot. guests needed a parking permit issued by the receptionist. the walk along the canal and lake to city center was really nice. Quick checkin.
