Very cosy and beautiful location. You feel at home right away and the garden is a great place to escape the busy city life. The place was beautifully decorated. Plenty of things to do in the area. The host is also very nice and knows a lot of things about the history of the town and the region. We even got a private tour through the church and had many interesting conversations with Anna.

The hosts are very warm and friendly! Everything in their household was done with a great deal of care: the food provided from local sustainable sources (which was so delicious by the way!!), the materials used to restore the Saxon house, the lovely flower garden, the vegetable garden, the wine from their own cellar. Alex provided us all the details and info about the local village/area with its history, recommended local producers and was ready to help whenever we needed. I strongly recommend this place!

We could not believe we stumbled upon this amazing place. Tastefully decorated, a huge and fully equipped kitchen, and most of all, one of the friendliest hosts we’ve met while traveling! Make sure to have breakfast with Ms. Angela (it’s in another house with an amazing cave-like bar and dining room!
