I had a wonderful, peaceful, and comfortable stay. Not a bad walk to the castle. The staff was friendly and very helpful and accommodating when I asked about visiting some of the menhirs around the area. As I traveled alone, it's good to know that people care. This place is great! It was the most clean place I stayed at in years, decorated with great taste and with aewsome views. We did enjoyed a most beautiful sunset from our balcony, whirl having a nice red wine, selection of the owner. The breakfast was also great, with some cortesy croissants that were the best I ate in years. What an amazing place indeed!!

Great very remote location with a spectacular view of the alqueva lake. Comfortable bed and a very nice room. Friendly and very helpful staff. From check in to check out everything was great! We particularly loved the dogs (Estrella!) and the very quiet pool area. If you want to relax in the middle of nowhere this is the place to be!

This is the cutest place to stay - located within the walls of the castle but easily accessible since the car can stop a few meters away to drop off passengers and luggages. The views are stunning and inside it's much bigger than it looks - we only took 2 of 4 rooms in the house, there are also 2 living rooms and a dinning area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The place was tidy when we got there and we felt most comfortable during our stay.

Very welcoming and friendly staff who were readily available to help me with the jacuzzi and left breakfast out for me when I overslept the breakfast time. It's a great place to relax and explore the countryside, especially if you like llamas! I recommend booking the bungalow for stargazing from the jacuzzi and staring off into nature.
