Was in a beautiful area with amazing views. The hotel was clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was initially disappointed there was no AC in the room but realized you didn’t need it - just kept the balcony door open and the breeze was adequate. Food was good, desserts were great.

Besides the top quality of the apartment and the facilities, they added the invaluable feeling of being home, with family. Starting with paying attention to every need one might have, as in our case was a plant based diet, continuing with the interesting talks at the breakfast, which were the cherry on the top of Sara's delicious vegan recipes, ending with an introduction to the world of specialty coffee, and many more ingredients which made us leave with the desire for coming back. Perfect in every way! The most extraordinary property we have ever stayed at. Theres a view of the ocean and a waterfall right from your bedroom window. There’s a beach right outside the house, and a hiking trail up to the waterfall as well. The accommodation was so beautifully decorated. It was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. We only had two people but it could definitely fit way more comfortably. Paul do Mar was the perfect location to base ourselves in. We were still able to easily explore the island. The locals there were also so lovely and welcoming. The host truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable and incredible time in Madeira. We are so grateful. We truly feel like it’s a home away from home and we can’t wait to return and stay here again. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Madeira.

We definitely loved the place. The view - all of the windows of the apartment have an amazing view. Two sides of the apartment faced the ocean and the third side faces the forest and a bit less the ocean. Space - the apartment is big. There were two of us and some of the rooms we didn't use at all. Big kitchen, balcony, and terrace. Also, I think there is a grill available for guests on the terrace, we didn't use it though. Internet - super fast 400+ Mbit/second. Location - we rented a car and for us, the location was very convenient. We could travel pretty fast to any part of the island, especially the West and NorthWest parts. Value for money - many times exceeded our expectations.
