The location was perfect for me with the beautiful view of the ocean. It is a small house - very private and even with the very high temperatures outside - the house was comfortable. This is the place for people who are looking for a quiet place with fresh air and starry nights. You need to rent a car if you want to choose this place. The owner was very nice, as a welcome gift we received some fruits from his garden and a bottle of wine.

The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful, and the sunsets we saw were fantastic. The villa is very well equipped and each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom. The swimming pool was fantastic, especially when we switched on the lights for the evening. The check in and check out were very well organised by the host, all remote and painless. We definitely consider coming back one day.

Amazing house in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Big living room, 3 bedrooms (two bedrooms have a great ocean view), a lovely terrace, parking. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can imagine, starting with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and ending with a microwave, oven, and dishwasher. Have to mention that everything was crystal clean! Porto Moniz is about 30-40 min away and Funchal ~50 min. The roads are extremely good on the island, so driving anywhere is not a problem at all. Overall, we've been happy about our decision to stay here and would definitely return. PS: Thank you very much to the owners for the lovely treats! :)

We loved the location of this place for our honeymoon. Very quiet and tranquil. Has everything you need. There are some good restaurants near the beach about 10min away one which the owner of these owns and it was the best food we had on the island! Very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly.

We spent here 12 days and couldn’t be happier. Everything was amazing,the views are astonishing, you have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, you also have a big terrace with the grill where you can just sit and admire the ocean. It’s a great place for 2 people,also you get privacy because the place is above the street. It could be quite windy,but that’s a part of living in the western part of the island. Also wifi is working perfectly,as we had few days of workation,so this was very important. The area itself is very calm,which we loved,but downhill you have a cute small city Paul do Mar (definitely have lunch / dinner in O Ideal and for cocktails -go to Makt pub). You can reach the place with car in ~7 min.,it’s very close,but you go down twisty mountain roads. Other option is to take an amazing hike down hill which takes around 30-45 minutes down and the views are incredible (unofficial hike,so I cannot name it,but ask the host as she told us about it). However,it’s quite steep so it can be challenging to go up and could take 1-1,5 hours,so just in case have enough cash to take a taxi or go through official rode and someone will may take you up hill!
