The host, João, kindly met us at the house to show us around and explained more about the area. He also left us some local welcome goodies. We stayed with our friends and had a great time cooking meals together and enjoying the yard. Lots of care has been taken with the flowers and trees and outside area is just beautiful! We used the pool a couple of times even though the weather wasn’t that agreeable. We just had to use it before leaving:) We took a walk into town and got some fresh bread and on the way back a neighbor gave us a big bag of fresh oranges. The house is an older home that has been updated and appointed with everything needed for a nice stay. All the beds are VERY comfortable! Plentiful seating and dishes/utensils. We already are planning our next visit. Thank you João for a great vacation!

Place is beautifully located and the area around has many places to visit: Alpedrinia with its Roman path, Garduńa mountains, river beaches and the nearby Fundao and Castelo Branco. In addition to that one can find a lot of interesting events organized by local communities.

Great facility, all renovated and modern, very big bathroom and bedroom, great size of livingroom and kitchenete. Amazing place for fireplace, when we arrived we had a fireplace already lit with nice warm, great idea. fabulous view for the region, right from the livingroom. We played tennis, the court was brand new and this was amazing, Defianately coming back!
