The 180 degrees sea-view is amazing and the location, relatively close to town and the ocean, but still surrounded by the farm's fields is having the best of both worlds. We chose this place to explore the east side of the island and it was a perfect staring point for all the places we wanted to visit. The neighborhood is nice and calm, parking was available right in front of the building. The place was very clean and tidy. Great views from the big balcony where we enjoyed our mornings and evenings. Special praise to Miguel (owner), who is a really great guy. He gave us tips on where to eat and some recommendations on destinations to visit that you don’t find on google. Would recommend for everybody!

Amazing view of the ocean from the apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Huge tv in the living room with lots of channels. It was very nice having two separate bathrooms. I had a car rented and the location was perfect. Midway between the airport and Funchal, 15 mins in a car to both. There was also a private garage in the apartment so I never had to worry about parking. A few cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and grocery shops nearby.
