What a stunning location! Beautiful view, tranquil and yet just minutes away to Batalha. Our hosts William and Monique were very welcoming. We had a choice of where we wanted to have our excellent breakfast and were served poolside both mornings. We decided to do the upgrade to the cabin and were very glad we did. Excellent selection of wines on site and William was very helpful in selecting something to our taste. We will definitely stay again when in that area as there was much to explore and do.

The house is new, well designed, decorated and with all the commodities you may need and more. It has a clean cozy feel. One of the 3 rooms is a suite; it has a porch accessible on the outside that is amazing to drink a hot tea or eat with friends, even on a rainy day :) and there is space for 2 cars inside the property - maybe 3 if the exterior grill is not going to be used. On the living room there's an amazing collection of books from romances to inspirational best sellers that goes pretty well with the theme - a nice place to take a weekend/week to rest and relax on the country side. It is less than 2km from the centre of Batalha and the nearest supermarket (pingo doce), both at the end of the road - we went there by foot, a nice walk. For the cold days, the AC was a nice plus, although all the rooms are well equiped and there are a lot of blankets scattered. There is a house under construction beside the property but no noise pollution! Regarding the owners, very kind, nice and responsive :) we would love to come again
