Easy to find. Safe car parking. Excellent facilities. Room clean & comfortable, refurbished room & entire facility throughout. Perfect stopover travelling to Germany. Grounds of the palace are superb, enchanted wood to walk through skirting fields of blue linseed, small pond running through. A small lake & seating in the sun in the grounds. Excellent for dogs & family as well as business travellers like us. Outside kiddies play area in sand, hammocks, outdoor bbq stand next to the lake. A giant oak tree a sight to see... Restuarant a delight, bfast plentiful, good choice set in a beautiful old, high ceiling, stately room. Overall stay highly recommended. I have to give the staff of the restuarant a particular merit. The food & service was really excellent, local produce. I tried the duck fillets, my wife the stuffed chicken. June, 2024.

As everyone has been saying, breakfast is just on another level. Very exclusive but cosy and personal. As the palace is gated, it's a great spot to feel safe with a car. The view, animals around and the forest are making the place a dream weekend get-away. The fastest check-in I've ever experienced (just guided to the room as it was late).

The apartment was exactly what we need! Right in the city centre close to a small park, well equipped and beautifully decorated. We stayed with a small baby and two dogs and it was perfect. We haven’t seen the owners, everything was managed online. I would totally come back to this place.
