For us the location was great as we wanted to visit the Sculptureum and Morris & James. Matakana Market was nice & local. There was a superb pizza place nearby for takeaway pizza.

The location was superb. Looked out the cabin window at the beach towards the Hen and Chickens in one direction and Little Barrier in the other. The beach was a small grass verge away.
The facilities were perfectly suited for the relaxed bach feel.
