Breathtaking 24-7 We love mostly everything about this property...we found it was the first time in months that we could disconnect and soak up the stunning nature and experience true peace. If you're looking for constant connectivity and an abundant nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a peaceful way to enjoy your day and explore the beautiful surroundings, this is your spot. In reflecting on our entire trip to New Zealand and exploring the entire South Island, we both keep saying our stay at Cape Foulwind was our absolute highlight. Our hosts Dianna, Bob, and Bolt could not have been more accommodating and friendly. What a beautiful experience - we are forever grateful.

Everything is awesome here. Cute little units with wood features. Hot tub in amongst the ferns. Close to the beach and a short drive from the seal colony. Excellent breakfast with brewed coffee, fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit, spreads. Bed was very comfortable. Good shower.

Beautiful location, carters Beach seems mostly undiscovered, you can walk for miles and barely see other people. The owners were friendly and welcoming. You could just see the ocean from the room and could hear the surf.
