We only stayed there for one day and were very sad to leave. Beautiful accommodation with breathtaking surroundings and views. Our room left nothing to be desired, great soundscape by the sea, perfect facilities and the most comfortable bed in all of New Zealand. Breathtaking 24-7 We love mostly everything about this property...we found it was the first time in months that we could disconnect and soak up the stunning nature and experience true peace. If you're looking for constant connectivity and an abundant nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a peaceful way to enjoy your day and explore the beautiful surroundings, this is your spot. In reflecting on our entire trip to New Zealand and exploring the entire South Island, we both keep saying our stay at Cape Foulwind was our absolute highlight. Our hosts Dianna, Bob, and Bolt could not have been more accommodating and friendly. What a beautiful experience - we are forever grateful.
