Excellent location and value for money. Little disappointed the restaurant wasn’t open the night we were there but it was short trip to get fish n chips. Friendly host, clean room and probably the best option if you want private accommodation close to the surf.

Great location right next to a superb beach. Parking for my motorcycle which I was using to travel around NZ. Really relaxing location with a good kitchen and social area. Was going to go back for a few more days but ran out of time!

Opposite the beach, great safe parking, a wonderful greeting even though we were late arriving (after 7pm) beautiful garden, well equipped very clean kitchen, underfloor heating in the bathroom :-)
All just brilliant
The motel is set on a hill overlooking the bay so the views were wonderful. Our room was comfortable with good wifi, parking right outside our room. We ate at the onsite restaurant which was very good and also had wonderful views.
Location, location, location. Peaceful, lush, surrounds and grounds. Facilities were great, kitchen, shared spaces, homely and comfortable, but private even with other patrons n the lodge. Beds very comfortable and spaces very clean. Loved that surf boards, BarBQ awere available with beach directly across the road. Parking available and access to the lodge easy.
Took the dirt bikes away with the family. Secure parking late check in. Allowed us a late checkout with out my request and ontop of that aloud me to securely park my vehicle and trailer while we went riding for the day upon our return I was a tad cheeky and asked if we could please use their BBQ for our sausages. They replied with we can't let you drive home on with empty tummies!! Brilliant staff 100 outof 10. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE STAY WITH YOU AGAIN
