What a luxury to each have our own room. The property is not too far from supermarkets too, and well positioned to explore the hardangerfjord.

The cabin was nicely located up the slope of the hill. A steep road leads to the parking. We stayed in cabin no. 2, and had a very nice porch to sit and relax. No noise from road down below.

The breakfast was the largest and best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The historic side of the hotel was fantastic for a coffee/tea break and meals. We had a very large (two-bedroom) suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It included a kitchen where we baked a supermarket pizza one evening. The balcony had a beautiful view looking down the fjord.
