The setting is beautiful between high mountains next to a running river. We enjoyed exploring the surroundings like the Øvre Eidfjord hike (see the Alltrails app) and the beautiful views from Kjeåsen a short drive away. The accommodation is an old charming building renovated to a very nice modern standard. The house was clean and well equipped. There is a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two toilets (one with a shower and laundry). Gina was a very helpful and service minded host.

The hosts are superb, really friendly and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The house is excellent with everything you need. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have slept in! The location on the waters edge is exceptional and only a short walk from the small town.

Probably our best hotel during our 10 days tour of Norway. Nice staff. Wonderfull view from the lounge and from the restaurant. We enjoyed there excellent grilles salmon, locan cider and cheesecake.
