Before our stay we were called as we had a late check-in, but it was in such a friendly manner that I just had to mention it. As for the stay, it was perfect to sleep in the leaf! Not only was it such a fun experience, but all the amenities were pristine. The shared bathroom, beds, and parking spot next to the leaf were all what we expected and beyond. Overall, I’d say that it’s definitely work the money and more, but what made it really worth it was the staff. Truly the kind welcome call in Dutch, the last-minute order of Thai food to make sure we had food, the quick checkout with a smile, and more. Keep up the good work! An absolute gem. My partner, baby and I needed an overnight stay on our way to England from southern Germany. We found this hotel on Booking.com at an excellent price. Our long drive was certainly complemented with the beautiful scenery surrounding this establishment before receiving a warm welcome and quickly shown to our room. We were lucky to arrive in time to enjoy a drink by the calming sounds of the river followed by a delicious three course meal. Compliments to the chef! We were served from start to finish by Elisée, an asset to this company. We were made to feel right at home and thank you once again for a great evening following a long drive. Very friendly and helpful host, his daughter also helped us out with some car trouble. The kitchen had all amenities which was helpful because there aren't many shops around, so you can easily make your own food. It was very warm and cozy and there's a lot of information about the region available. There's plenty of outdoor seating but we had a lot of rain and chilly temperatures so we didn't use it. The heating is fantastic, nothing was damp at all. The sofa bed is comfortable and the chairs are absolutely amazing! Saw in some other reviews that people had to make a big detour because the bridge was closed, it is partially open again so you can cross it after waiting for a traffic light.
