We booked the Treehouse for one night, but loved the place, thus extended the stay for one night more. The Treehouse is new and clean with double bed and big terace in 2nd floor, open dining area and WC in 1st. We liked the feeling to live in the jungles, admire wonderful view of Pidurangala rock. The family runs only one tree house, so you can fell absolutely privacy. The owner Dominda and his family were very hostile and helpful. We come to the place late, so they offered to prepare us dinner, that was very delicious. Breakfast was also really good, with a lot of Sri Lankan dishes. Dominda helped us to plan our trips around. He also showed us a view of point at the lake with astonishing panorama of Pidurangala and Lion rock. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay and unforgettable impressions :)

The host was extremely helpful. He recommended and helps arranged activities for us. He even offered to drive us for more than 5 hours to our next destination. Other than that, the place was clean and the meal there were cheap and delicious. And its only 15 minutes walk from here to the Pidurangala Rock. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here when coming to Sigiriya.

We absolutely loved this guesthouse. As soon as we entered the premises the family came out and greeted us with open arms. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The home cooked meals were one of the best so far! We really enjoyed spending time with the family. They're all so friendly and polite and give great advice and tips on what to see. The location is great too, only a few minutes by TukTuk to Pidurangala mountain. We highly recommend staying with this lovely family!

Thilina Homestay is a cute homestay in the middle of the jungle. So its perfect for people that want to calm down, relax and enjoy the nice nature. It also has a nice private garden and a hammock which was very cool. The room has ecerything you need as is very big and comfortable and clean. It has no A/C but as it is beneath trees it does not become too hot. The highlight of our stay here was the festival that we were invited to participate which the host organized for us as he knew we love sport and especially running. So he spontaneously arranged for us to be able to participate in the running conpetition and supported us which was an awesome experience we will not forget! This was definitely the highlight of oir trip which would have been only possible with the courage and support of our host to make the most of our stay. Thank you!
