It's amazing what Eusebi and Ruben built there! We stayed at the village and thanks to the hospitality of Ruben and his crew we instantly felt at home and the other "villagers" quickly became friends. The Bungalows are not luxurious, but they provide a lot of space, were very clean, the bed is big and very comfortable and the outdoor bath and shower is amazing! The food is also amazing! For lunch you can choose between different dishes that are delivered to the beach (if you go kitesurfing) and in the evening there is a small buffet with new treats to discover every day. So all in all I can highly recommend to stay there, not least because of the unmatched friendliness and hospitality of Ruben and his crew. Margarita Village was our favorite stay in Sri Lanka and we will surely come back!

The place is a corner of heaven, surrounded by palm trees, with a view of a salt lagoon, peaceful and safe. the rooms are spacious. Amjade, who hosted us in his place during our kitesurf holiday, was very hospitable. He carefully prepared delicious breakfasts for us every morning. We extended our stay because we felt like at home in Kite Bay Villa.

Perfect location for kite surfing. Very nice facilities , great layout, rooms are very private, super pet friendly , very nice staff. Have refillable water bottles in each room. The food in their restaurant is delicious. They have a kite school on property. The kite school has a very professional and knowledgeable Instructor. He runs a very successful kite school business. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Luke the owner was superb! His vision for the property is truly inspirational. The atmosphere, vibe, service & professionalism was first class. Food was delicious. We gave the chef free reign to cook for us. We were not disappointed! Fish, prawns, incredible soups, curry, freshly made naan bread. We felt very spoilt! The property has been designed with love and care. The views! We loved all the finer details on display. The location is a knock-out! Right on the lagoon. What a magic spot to kite surf & do a range of water sports. Luke and his staff can cater for everyone’s needs. Can’t forget to mention the bed! Divine! Lovely linen. Gorgeous outdoor shower too. My husband and I travel a lot. And have stayed in too many places to count. What we love about Asari is the love that has been put into designing & creating this resort. It’s special. If you want to arrive to a beautiful unspoilt location with the warmest of smiles & services then you will love this place! Truly a very memorable experience. Sad to leave, but we will return. 5 stars!!!!

We spent 6 nights in this resort as non-kite surfers. Overall, this is a beautifully-kept resort with what is probably the best pool in Kalpitiya. The room was comfortable, with AC but no fridge. Daily cleaning was available if required. A buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order was served at the property while lunch/dinner and the bar were at the sister property 3-4 minutes walk away. We were really impressed by the staff who were all friendly, helpful and hard-working. There was a good atmosphere in the resort. Note that outings to the oceanfront or Kalpitiya town require a tuktuk ride unless you are happy doing a longish walk in the heat.
