The host gave very detailed instructions including photos to help find the property, which is tucked away behind other buildings up a steep hill. The property was spacious with views over the valley. There were plenty of extra futon cushions to make sleeping on the tatami comfortable. The sitting area upstairs had a table and chairs and also a lovely view. Downstairs was floor seating and a very low couch with many cushions and two beanbag chairs as well as a kotatsu table for warmth, though heating was adequate. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were drip coffee bags, tea, and basic condiments as well as oil. The restaurant next door was exceptional and fun!

This is a very clean two bedrooms house that can accomodate a family. Everything you may need is there. Detailed instructions about checking in and out were provided. Car park is available on site. We only spent one night after wondering around Koyasan all day. I highly recommend this property if you want to stay in the area. Good value for money, a lot of space and very clean.
