Keeping in mind that this is a temple, not a hotel, the amenities and services were very good! Our room was spacious, clean and calm. Even if the bathroom was shared, it was kept clean and it wasn’t busy (not shared by many people).
The common areas are small but that’s enough: drinks and seats. There’s also a hot bath for women and men separated.
The food was really good and served at fixed hours. The possibility of participating to activities like meditation or a ceremony in the morning immerses you a bit in the life of monks.
The area is also great: right next to the Okunoin cemetery and a few minutes walk from the village centre.
Offering quiet street views, Guest House hachi hachi is an accommodation situated in Koyasan, 37 km from Tama Museum and 37 km from Kishi Station.

Breakfast and dinner with extra charges are proposed during the check-in. Both were very good and tasteful.

The room is huge, clean and bright and has a nice view of the mountains. There's a little entrance area with a fridge, sink and toilet.
The hotel is located in a quiet area close to the train station.
