The hostel is the heart of an interesting rural community, with older longtime residents in tile roofed houses and younger artistic residents... musicians, painters, farm to table chefs, etc. You can walk in the nearby woods. I asked for a non-smoking room but they were full on the first day. After going back from my room to the lobby, the staff offered me a non-smoking room available on the second day. I just packed my luggage and left at the front desk. The hotel staff helped me move to the new room before I went back to the hotel. 2 pieces of croissants everyday.
